We are seeking an Intermediate Data Analyst to join their team, who will work closely with the rest of our Data Science team, using Python and SQL to analyse and interpret data, and to derive insights that inform business decisions.
Job Description:
- Collecting and analysing data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Creating reports and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining databases using SQL.
- Writing scripts and building models in Python to automate data processing and analysis.
- Collaborating with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in data analysis.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of new projects.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis using Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong desire to learn and to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
